Jenny's taking on mares

May 2, 2019

With a passion for looking after mares and rearing young horses, Princess Park co-manager Jenny Saunders is opening the farm gates and taking in a limited number of broodmares for the upcoming breeding season.

And with so many good stallions standing in Victoria this season we're expecting a busy breeding season ahead. It's been great to see Swettenham Stud's Toronado getting winners early and to see his son Prince Of Sussex win the VOBIS $1M race last week was outstanding.

Another two proven stallions moving to Victoria are Starspangledbanner to Rosemount Stud, as well as the impressive Akeed Mofeed moving to Adam Sangter's Swettenham Stud.

We also have another big entrant into Victoria in Yulong Thoroughbreds. Yulong have brought up land in Nagambie and will stand Australian Guineas winner Grunt at their new farm this season.

Add to this list proven stallion Written Tycoon from Woodside, and Brazen Beau from Darley Seymour, and you have a state with a stallion rank as good as it has looked in decades.

With Princess Park's experienced team, our close proximity to the best studs in Victoria, and our dedication to ongoing owner communication, we are an extremely attractive option for breeders looking to breed in Victoria.

Contact Jenny Saunders on 0426 968 020 to discuss your mares' plans.
