Recently named racehorse Better Together looked very good in a trail at Ballarat last Thursday as she warms up for her debut race later in the week.
The daughter of Reward For Effort jumped out well from the gates well to lead and showed good acceleration in the straight to win her trail.
Everything she has done to date has indicated that she has above average ability.
A $72,500 puirchase at the Inglis Premier Sale in 2016, the filly is bred for speed being out of Snippets mare Muppets. Muppets has produced 6 to the races and all have been winners.
Trainer Pat Cannon has been very patient with the horse allowing her to grow into her big frame. We're hopeful this patience is rewarded.
She'll be nominated for Geelong on Saturday. It is a maiden over 1100 metres for fillies and mares. With her big striding action the spacious track of Geelong should be to her liking.
