Princess Park to buy and sell with owners

March 15, 2017

With the price of yearlings continuing to rise, it has been increasingly difficult to find value at the premium yearling sales across Australia.

Our premier sale in Victoria broke new records again in 2017. The average price for a yearling at the Inglis Premier Sale climbed 11% from the year prior to $122,977, and a new record of $1.4M was set for the highest price ever to be paid for a yearling in Victoria.

Demand for quality thoroughbred racehorses is on the rise. We have seen a strong level of demand from overseas buyers and with local prize-money increasing, local trainers and syndicators continue to buy up big at sales across Australia.

With this in mind in 2017 Princess Park will be buying a select group of weanlings at the upcoming weanling sales across Australia.

The plan will be to prepare this group of horses to be sold around 10 months later at the Inglis Premier Sale in Melbourne in 2018.

We have assembled an experienced team to get the job done and we are excited about what the future holds.

Princess Park will be co-investing with our clients. It's a unique opportunity for our owners to get involved at the ground level while also gaining invaluable experience into the thoroughbred breeding industry. It also represents an opportunity for investors to have the odds of making a return tipped in their favor.

The weanlings will be grown out at our Nagambie property and prepared for sale utilizing the facilities at the property.

We are holding an information dinner in Melbourne on Thursday the 30th of March. Anyone who would like to learn more should contact Adam Palmer.
