WET TRACK SHOULD BE A BONUS FOR BULGING |
|
Tuesday 19th August 2008 Grey gelding Bulging runs in the first race today at Kilmore. He looked home last start at Bendigo only to be gunned down in the shadows of the post. Up to a mile now he should be able to get in a good position early and is amongst the main chances. His breeding suggests the extra ground should pose no real problem, and he settles that well in his races to date that it has been suggested he may even get further. The main danger is the impecably bred David Hayes trained galloper Quatro. This filly is by one time champion Danehill racehorse Rock of Gibraltar and out of My Brilliant Star who herself was a winner of the AJC Oaks. We beat her home last start but you'd |

FAV TRACK FOR CREEKA A PLUS & BULGING EXPLODES TO RUN SECOND |
|
Creek Side is back to his favorite track tomorrow at Flemington. He’s had the three starts there for a win, a second and a fourth behind Stavka three starts back. He’s at his pet distance of 1400 metres and if he puts in 100% he can figure in the finish. Last start at Ballarat was better following his Caulfield flop the start before. Mark Zahra reported that Creeka got through the slop ok but thought he was better horse on top of the ground. He gets a good surface tomorrow and from a perfect gate of barrier seven the syndicate will hopeful of a good showing.
Meanwhile owners of new stable runner Bulging may have gone off too big when cheering home there horse yesterday. After jumping out well and leading the field the |

TEAM GOES BUSH THIS WEEKEND WITH SPINNER IN TODAY AT GEELONG |
Friday 25th July 2008 Surespinner is the first of four Princess Park runners to run this weekend. He races over 1300 metres at Geelong today after having a month between his last run. He was well fancied at his last start but failed to ping. The feeling is that the horse races best when fresh so we are hoping that the freshen help will improve his performance today. It looks a race in two with Surespinner and the locally trained Will’s Power the main chances. He’s drawn out a bit so experienced jock Mark Zahra will need to be at his best. Tomorrow at Donald we have two runners. First away will be debutant Bulging. Bulging |

Wednesday 16th July 2008 Yep it’s official. Lacey Underall the winner of the 2008 Adelaide Cup has been retired. After coming back into work with general wear and tear on a fetlock joint, it was decided last week to retire the mare that has been so good to us. Lacey recorded five wins and nine placings in her 45 start career with almost half a million in prizemoney. Lacey had been in work preparing for a tilt at the Melbourne Cup but Dan O’Sullivan wasn't completely happy with her. |

CAN TUSCAN BEAUTY SALUTE FOR THE LADIES? |
|
Thursday 3 July 2008 It will be a good result if Tuscan Beauty can win at her first start at Bendigo tomorrow. After some bad luck for the ladies at their first attempt at racing a horse, some of the ladies decided to tough it out, and the Ladies Second Time Lucky Syndicate was formed. They snapped up a lease share in the Dan O’Sullivan trained Tuscan Beauty just over a month ago, and bang they’re up and running tomorrow at Bendigo. |

CREEK SIDE FIRST UP AT MOONEE VALLEY SATURDAY |
|
Friday 20th June 2008 Multiple city winning stalwart Creek Side resumes at Moonee Valley on Saturday. He’s had a good three month spell at Princess Park after his last campaign, his first decent break since he started racing. Recent reports from Ballarat say he’s bouncing on the training track, so hopefully we are in for a good campaign.
Creek Side can sprint well fresh. He ran a good third at Mornington when he was first up last time over 1200 metres. From a wide gate he slid forward to sit outside the leader and he hit the lead in the straight. He was overtaken with fifty metres to go but only beaten a length in a good quality open handicap won by Rubiton Raider. Dismissal |

SURESPINNER DRAWS GATE AND LOOKS GOOD EACH WAY CHANCE TODAY |
|
Monday 16 June 2008 Surespinner goes to Geelong Thoroughtrack today and races over 1100 metres. He was wide the whole trip first up at the same track three weeks ago, and did an enourmous job to fnish off as well as he did. Today he draws barrier 3 and with Nick Ryan aboard he should be right in the finish. Believe the one to beat is the unraced Kournacat - out of Miss Kournakova - believe it may go pretty good. Watch betting. Fusaichi Knight has a third to Marching on debut. It's first up today. |

GO GARY GO......GOOOO....GARY! |
|
Thursday 12 June 2008 Newly named Go Gary Go, took his first big step towards his first race start after he trialled well at an unofficial trial today at Burrumbeet. Jumping out to share the lead he finished the trial off hard held in a good fashion. He still needs to grow up but the experience will do him the world of good.
Finishing alongside Go Gary Go, was the Hollylodge bred filly Tuscan Beauty. She worked alongside Gary for the trip and was as equaly impressive. They'll wil both go to the Bendigo public trials Monday week. The about to be esablished Second Time Lucky Ladies Syndicate take a slice in this filly, and a first up run is eagerly awaited. |

TUSCAN VALLEY DEBUTS & SURESPINNER FIRST UP |
|
Thursday 22nd May 2008 Well if seems it's been a while since our last runner, it has been. Plenty of horses in work, but none racing of late. Not long out of pre-tarining at Princess Park Creek Side, A'Lamour and the recently named Black Hawk / Nas Princess gelding, Go Gary Go, are all in full work at Dan O'Sullivan's Ballarat stables. All three are at least six weeks away from racing. We have Ureshii Tori back in work at the farm after a good spell, and in full training at Matty Ellerton's Flemington stable is Buldging (Noverre/M'Lady's Manor) and is all the better after losing the crown jewells.
Tommorow on the Geelong synthetic track we have two Princess Park representitives. Tuscan Valley who was brought up on the farm for foundation clients in the Val |

STARS ALIGNED FOR LACEY'S CRACK AT SYDNEY CUP |
|
Friday 2nd May 2008 Who would have guessed it four years ago when we purchased a Desert Sun filly at the Adelaide Sales that we would be going into a Group 1 Sydney Cup having just won the Adelaide Cup? Not me, that is for sure. Unraced as a two year old, Lacey’s owners have had to be patient. And even as she raced as a three year old, we were more hopeful than optimistic. It really wasn’t until she was a four year old mare and after 24 starts, when she won at Sandown, and a trip to Adelaide beckoned for a first tilt at the cup, that owners became optimistic. They began to realise Lacey could have some staying potential. Fast forward a bit over twelve months and the Adelaide Cup sits |
